1. Haldidhati

In Udaipur The battle fought on  June 18, 1576, on the Haldidhati mountain range is one of the most famous battles ever fought in the history of India.

It was a bloody power struggle between the all-powerful Mughals and the local Rajput rulers. A story of great value, loyalty, ingenuity, and victory over overall odds. 

Although a large number of casualties were reported in the Rajput army, which was also very small in numbers and weak in arms, the Mughals failed to capture or overthrow the Rajputs.  The Haldidhati pass gets its name from the color of the turmeric soil. 

Temple built by Maharana Pratap of Rajputs in honor of his beloved horse: Chetak can be seen near Haldidhati. Haldidhati is also proud of its cottage industries; Its rose products and pottery make it a particularly interesting souvenir.

The Saheliyon-Ki-Bari or Garden of the Maidans, built by Maharana Sangram Singh as a garden for women, is a popular tourist destination.

5. Bagore Ki Haweli

Bagore Ki Haveli is located on Gangaur Ghat near Lake Pichola Udaipur. 

It was built in the 18th century by Amarchand Barwa, the Prime Minister of Mewar. The spacious palace has more than 100 rooms displaying costumes and modern art. 

And the interior glass and mirrors are designed in the classical mansion style.

6. Doodh Talai Lake

7. Badi Lake

Badi Lake is an artificial lake created by Maharana Raj Singh to help balance the city against the devastating effects of drought. 

He named the lake Jian Sagar after his mother Jana Devi. This lake proved to be a boon for the people of Udaipur during the drought of 1973. 

And today, the lake has become a popular attraction for both locals and tourists in the city of Udaipur. Surrounded by three umbrellas, Badi Lake is one of the best freshwater lakes in the country and is counted among the major tourist attractions of Udaipur.

8. Gulab Bagh

The Navlakha Palace is located at the center of the Rose Bag, which was originally placed in the historic city of Udaipur in the nineteenth century. 

Maharishi Dayanand, who reached Udaipur at the invitation of the 72nd ruler of Mewar State, Maharana Sajjan Singh, stayed here for about six and a half months and stayed in Navlakha Palace. 

In that Navlakha Mahal, Maharishi Dayanand completed the writing of his masterpiece Amar Satyarth Prakash.

9. Uday Sagar Lake

Uday Sagar Sarovar is one of the five wonderful lakes of Udaipur. Located about 13 km east of Udaipur, this lake was started by Maharana Uday Singh in 1559. 

The lake is actually the result of a dam built on the Berach river to supply enough water to the Maharana Empire. 

Uday Sagar Sarovar is 4 kilometers long, 2.5 kilometers wide and the deepest is about 9 meters.

10. Jagdish Temple

An example of the Indo-Aryan architectural style is the Jagadish Temple was built in 1651 and is one of the most famous temples in and around Udaipur. 

Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the structure is an architectural marvel with carved pillars, towering ceilings, and painted walls.
